Meigelle Lapos joined Wischermann Partners in October of 2017. As the Director of People and Talent, Meigelle oversees all Human Resources functions for Wischermann Partners, both at the corporate and property level. At the corporate level Meigelle focuses on training and development initiatives, employee retention, engagement and culture. She will be supporting the Human Resources teams at each of the properties in the Wischermann Partners portfolio.
Meigelle began her career in hospitality over ten years ago, working with companies such as Marriott International, Carlson Worldwide, The Hay-Adams, and the Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. During which time she was able to gain experience in areas such as Training and Development, Employee Engagement, Talent Acquisition, and Labor Relations. With a passion for Labor relations Meigelle sat on two labor boards with the American Hotel and Lodging Association, while in Washington D.C., negotiating new policies with the local union and for contract negotiation. Meigelle is an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM), and is starting her second term as a selected council member for SHRM YPAC (Young Professional Advisory Council).
Meigelle went to the Art Institutes International of Minnesota and received her Bachelors degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, and her Masters Degree from Florida International University in Human Resources Management, with a concentration in Employment Law.
