Michael O’Connor is a dedicated and experienced professional who leads and supports all Human Resource functions within Wischermann Partners. His collaborative efforts are focused on building the best teams at each location. Michael is a true business partner to his operational counterparts. Recruitment, culture and a strategic focus on people development are passion points for Michael. His daily efforts strive to help associates reach their potential. Prior to joining Wischermann Partners, Michael held several leadership positions in upper upscale and luxury hotels. He spent the majority of his time with Interstate Hotels where he served on Interstate’s HR Business Council and participated in several property acquisitions and as a member of their property taskforce team.
Michael started his career with Marriott International, holding HR positions at Marriott & Ritz-Carlton properties in Detroit, Cincinnati, Naples, and Orlando.
In his free time, Michael enjoys an active outdoor life with his wife and four children.
