Bill Loughran joined Wischermann Partners in 2018 as Regional Director of Finance following assisting the company with several operational asset transitions in a task force capacity. Bill oversees day-to-day Accounting and Finance activities for the portfolio, as well as back-office account and reporting systems administration.

Bill is a 30-plus-year veteran in the hospitality industry having started his career delivering room service in the 1980s and transitioning throughout various operational roles from there. With a background in Finance and Operations, Bill is a proven leader who has successfully implemented changes resulting in improved operational and financial performance.  Bill’s background in Operations gives him a unique perspective as an Accounting and Finance leader as he understands the balance between delivering exceptional customer service whilst keeping an eye towards maximizing profits and the value of the investment.

Prior to joining Wischermann Partners, Bill spent the majority of his career in the Cincinnati area, having held positions in the Accounting and Finance arena for several ownership groups and brands. Bill’s tenure also includes the title of General Manager. Bill is the past President of the Cincinnati Hotel Association and served on the Executive Board of the Convention and Visitors Bureau. Additionally, Bill held the position of Adjunct Professor of Hospitality Information Systems with The University of Cincinnati.

In his spare time, Bill enjoys working with his hands on either home improvement or projects or automotive restoration. Bill is a native of southeastern Kentucky where most of his family resides; however, Bill lives in the suburbs of Cincinnati where he is close to and spends time with his son and grandson.
